&lt;p&gt;After the arrival of Luca Gotti and the victory against Salenitana, which broke a five-game drought where only one point was gained, Lecce host Roma to try to climb further up the table.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Daniele De Rossi`s team will not agree and, after beating Sassuolo, will also want three points in Salento to continue his side’s chase for fourth place.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;DID YOU KNOW?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since Daniele De Rossi’s debut as Roma manager on January 16, the Giallorossi are both the team that has scored the most goals in Serie A (23) and the one with the highest shot conversion rate (25%) – furthermore, during this period, only Inter (25) has earned more points in Serie A (22 in nine matches).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After a narrow 1-0 victory against Salernitana in their last league match, Lecce could achieve two consecutive wins in Serie A for the first time since between November 2022 and January 2023 (three wins in that case).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HEAD-TO-HEAD&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Lecce have won only two of their 35 matches played against Roma in Serie A (9D, 24L); among teams they’ve faced 10+ times in the competition, only against Milan have they won as few of their matches against an opponent (also 6%, 2/35).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Lecce are the team against which Roma boast the longest ongoing streak of matches with at least one goal scored in Serie A (21 with an average of 2.3 goals per game); the last time Lecce kept a clean sheet against the Giallorossi in the competition was on April 9, 2000, in a goalless draw at the Via del Mare stadium (0-0).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Only against Milan (5.6%), do Lecce have a lower percentage of home victories than against Roma (5.9%) among the teams they have hosted at least five times in Serie A. Against today’s opponents the Salentini have just one win, seven draws, and nine losses in the 17 clashes held at the Via del Mare stadium.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;PLAYERS&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Mile Svilar has played six league matches this season, including five since De Rossi`s arrival at Roma: since then (MD25) no goalkeeper has made more saves than the Giallorossi goalkeeper (22, level with Consigli) in Serie A; in the same period, only Sommer (184) has completed more passes than Svilar (168) among the goalkeepers in the competition.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Wladimiro Falcone is the goalkeeper who has made both the most saves (97) and the highest number of saves from shots attempted from inside the penalty area (68) in this Serie A season. Additionally, the 28-year-old is one of the only two goalkeepers who have not missed a single match in the current tournament (29 appearances, alongside Lorenzo Montipò).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The only miss from the penalty spot out of 15 penalties taken in Serie A by Romelu Lukaku occurred against Lecce, in the reverse fixtuere on November 5th last year.
