&lt;p&gt;Four teams, three medals up for grabs, two North African sides and two European. This is how it looks going into the semi-finals of the men’s football tournament at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Morocco face Spain in their semi-final, while hosts France are up against Egypt.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Morocco &lt;/strong&gt;dominated the USA in the first quarter-final, running out clear 4-0 winners at the Parc des Princes. &lt;strong&gt;Bologna’s El Azzouzi&lt;/strong&gt; starred on the left of Morocco’s 4-2-3-1. For the US, &lt;strong&gt;Tessmann (Venezia)&lt;/strong&gt; was the last one to give up and threatened Morocco’s goal numerous times, finishing the game with four shots on target. In the last quarter-final, Henry’s France beat Argentina by a goal to nil thanks to an early goal from Crystal Palace striker Mateta. The game in Bordeaux was the end of the Olympic dream for Mascherano’s side and Fiorentina’s &lt;strong&gt;Lucas Beltran&lt;/strong&gt;, who came off the bench with 26 minutes to go.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, attention turns to the semi-finals on Monday 5 August:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;  &lt;li&gt;Morocco vs. Spain, 18:00 CEST&lt;/li&gt;  &lt;li&gt;France vs. Egypt, 21:00 CEST&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;Three Serie A players will be in action in the game between Morocco and Spain: El Azzouzi and Miranda, both of Bologna, and Parma’s Bernabé.
