I`m back training with the group and it was an incredible feeling to be back on the pitch: I missed being able to train with my teammates, it`s an feeling that can`t be described, I`ve suffered a lot during this long period, but thanks to my desire, my family and my friends I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would also like to thank Fiorentina`s medical and technical staff, the club, and the fans who have stood by me. I must confess that the first time I trained with my teammates I got the shivers, I was about to start crying....&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Let`s take stock of this 2022 that is coming to an end: downs but also some ups...&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For me this year has mainly been a great challenge because of what I have been through and I must say that I think I have come out of it with a great awareness: I have grown from a human point of view but also from a football point of view. Being outside and having all this time to think about myself, I have noticed little details that I didn`t pay attention to before. Humanly, on the other hand, I now have great strength of will. And then I got married, and that is a day I will never forget!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;You arrived in Florence very young, what do the team colours represent for you?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Florence was my springboard and I am very attached to the team and the club. We started slow, last year we started better, then we recovered and finished the first part of the season well. We went through a difficult time and only thanks to the strength of the group did we come out of it. I would say that we have to improve in terms of scoring. We must be more consistent, we also had this problem last year.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What kind of team are you?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We are a team with a lot of quality but above all a united group. And the group spirit makes the difference!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What is it like working with Coach Italiano? What kind of coach is he?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;He`s a very prepared coach, he talks to us a lot, as if he were still a player, and that helps us. And he has an incredible ruthlessness that he puts into every training session. He really pushes us, but makes us leave the pitch aware of how much room for improvement each of us still has. And then we often go to dinner together and often the coach pays, not always though... (laughter)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;And where do you fit in best? You have the number 10 on your back, that`s a big responsibility!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You mustn`t give too much weight to the number of the shirt, you have to take to the pitch with the comfort of when you`re training and be happy with what you`re doing. 10 has been my number since I was a child and it`s an honour to wear it in Serie A TIM.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What kind of player are you?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think I`m good technically, although perhaps I tend to hold onto the ball too much. They are giving a lot of quality and strength to the team.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Is there a moment in your career that you remember with particular fondness?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My first goal in Serie A TIM at San Siro against AC Milan, my whole family support the Rossoneri and I also used to side with them as a child. I don`t think my parents cheered that much (laughs). Then also being able to play with a legend like Ribery, my first brace at the Franchi and the celebrations for reaching the Conference League.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;After the break Monza are up next, what kind of game do you expect?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We don`t have to look at their position, neither Monza`s ours, we just have to think about getting points. They are a very good team full of youngsters who put a lot of effort in and have a lot of quality. I expect a full stadium to push us to do well and get the three points!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;On 12 March Cremonese play Fiorentina, you know the Grigiorosso environment very well... Are you happy to see them back in Serie A TIM?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cremonese will always remain in my heart, I`m delighted to see them again: they`ve helped me grow a lot, I wish them luck and success. Maybe not against us though!
