&lt;p&gt;There were plenty of goals and big moments on matchday 28 of Serie A, a round of fixtures which certainly left a mark on the history of the top flight. The title race remains wide open: Inter had to battle for their victory, Napoli got back to winning ways, while Atalanta beat Juventus by a record-breaking margin to stay in the hunt. Bologna and Roma continued their impressive charge towards the European places, while a resurgent AC Milan managed a heart-pounding turnaround against Lecce. Two young Argentineans put their names up in lights: Parma’s Pellegrino was the first of his countrymen to score a brace for the Gialloblù since Crespo, while Soulé scored Roma’s fastest-ever goal in Serie A. It was a round to forget, however, for the teams in the relegation battle, none of whom won, leaving the question at the bottom of the table as wide open as ever.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cagliari&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;Genoa&lt;/strong&gt; played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw as the Ligurian side took a precious point home from the Unipol Domus. The Sardinians got off to a good start and scored on the counter, finished off by &lt;strong&gt;Viola&lt;/strong&gt; – their first goal in the first 20 minutes for over three months (the reverse fixture against Genoa). After the break, the Grifone grew into it and equalised through &lt;strong&gt;Cornet&lt;/strong&gt;, who continued his good start to life in Serie A: two goals – both assisted by Ekuban – and one assist in six games. Genoa are looking to be a solid side now, having avoided defeat in four of their last five games. After the break, &lt;strong&gt;Adams&lt;/strong&gt; restored Torino’s lead, but &lt;strong&gt;Pellegrino&lt;/strong&gt; again brought Parma back level. Mateo’s goal brought back memories of another Argentinian striker for the Gialloblù: Pellegrino, in fact, became the first player from Argentina to score a top-flight brace for Parma since Hernan Crespo in 2010. Pellegrino has had an impressive impact in Serie A since his arrival: in three appearances off the bench, he has scored two goals from four shots on target in 52 minutes played. Como registered the highest percentage stat in the first half for any team at home this season (72.4%) but their woes in defending leads continued: with 19 points dropped from winning positions, Fabregas’ men have a worse record only than Venezia (24). However, Conceição’s men reacted strongly: first, a Gallo &lt;strong&gt;own-goal &lt;/strong&gt;reignited the Rossoneri’s hopes, before substitute Leão&amp;nbsp;turned on the jets down the left and &lt;strong&gt;Pulisic &lt;/strong&gt;won the day with a brace to complete the turnaround. For the first time in the history of the Italian top flight, AC Milan and Inter both came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 on the same matchday. The Argentinian netted the Giallorossi’s fastest-ever goal in Serie A, breaking the record set by Totti in 2012 (30 seconds) and scoring the fastest goal in the league overall since 2021. &lt;strong&gt;Ranieri’s Roma &lt;/strong&gt;continued their unstoppable run: with 26 points, they are the most in-form team in Europe’s Top-5 leagues in 2025. Since Ranieri returned to the Club on 24 November, only Liverpool (12) have won more games than the Giallorossi (10). Soulé is often decisive away from home, having scored all three of his goals this season away from the Olimpico. Romagnoli scored his first Serie A goal in 646 days, while &lt;strong&gt;Thauvin&lt;/strong&gt; scored in his second straight league game.
