&lt;p&gt;Antonio Conte and Thiago Motta, both in their first season at the helm of their new clubs, will come up against each other on Saturday when Napoli face Juventus at the Maradona. While Conte led the Bianconeri into many battles with the Partenopei during his spell in Turin, it’s a showdown that Motta will be experiencing for the first time as a coach.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The last time two new coaches were in the dugout for a showdown between Napoli and Juventus was in 2009/10: back then, Ciro Ferrara was in charge of the Bianconeri and Walter Mazzari was the Napoli coach.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Matches between Napoli and Juventus with coaches experiencing the clash for the first time - like Conte, Allegri, Sarri and Spalletti - have often been thrilling affairs with iconic moments that have made history in our league and deepened the rivalry between the two clubs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We’re now taking a look back at five such showdowns, all of which were memorable encounters.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Juventus 2-3 Napoli, matchday 11, 2009/10&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ciro Ferrara &lt;/strong&gt;had replaced Claudio Ranieri the previous season and was in charge of a Juventus side that sat second behind Inter, while Napoli had just replaced Donadoni with &lt;strong&gt;Walter Mazzarri&lt;/strong&gt;. At the Stadio Olimpico di Torino, it was all going well for the Bianconeri: &lt;strong&gt;Trezeguet&lt;/strong&gt; opened the scoring with a fantastic header from a Grygera assist before &lt;strong&gt;Giovinco&lt;/strong&gt; took full advantage of a mistake by Contini to make it 2-0.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;However, inspired by former Boca Juniors man &lt;strong&gt;Datolo&lt;/strong&gt;, Napoli found the strength to respond. The Azzurri winger helped kick off the Partenopei fightback down the flank, setting up &lt;strong&gt;Hamsik&lt;/strong&gt; to score. Datolo then found the net from a corner to make it 2-2. In the closing stages, the Argentine was once again involved as he raced forward and sent in a cross that Grosso could only clear to Hamsik, who let fly with a right-footed strike that sailed past Buffon. The Bianconeri were joint top with reigning champions AC Milan, while Mazzarri’s Napoli were three points behind in fifth.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The match was a lively affair from the get-go: &lt;strong&gt;Hamsik&lt;/strong&gt; converted from the spot, but the referee ordered a retake and the Napoli man fired over. It was a game that saw &lt;strong&gt;Pogba &lt;/strong&gt;open the scoring with a wonderful volley from just outside the box. &lt;strong&gt;Britos &lt;/strong&gt;equalised after the restart, but &lt;strong&gt;Caceres &lt;/strong&gt;restored&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;the visitors’ lead five minutes later.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Juventus’ win was sealed by &lt;strong&gt;Vidal&lt;/strong&gt;, who sent a missile into the top corner to make it 3-1. Allegri’s side thus broke the hoodoo, with Juventus emerging victorious in Naples for the first time in 14 years to finish the first half of the campaign on their own in first place. After just ten minutes, &lt;strong&gt;Morata &lt;/strong&gt;robbed Manolas of the ball and beat Ospina to make it 1-0. It was all going to plan for the visitors, but everything changed in the second half.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Szczesny failed to hold a curling effort from Insigne, and Politano was the quickest to react to make it 1-1.
