&lt;p&gt;Fonseca`s new AC Milan is starting to take shape. While the Portuguese coach leads the American tour with the players at his disposal, the club is actively working in the transfer market to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season. After bolstering the attack with the &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.legaseriea.it/it/media/made-in-italy/a-euro-2024-winner-joins-ac-milan-716im2e&#34; data-new-window=&#34;true&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; rel=&#34;noopener noreferrer&#34;&gt;&lt;strong&gt;signing of Alvaro Morata&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, the Rossoneri have identified &lt;strong&gt;Strahinja Pavlović &lt;/strong&gt;as the right player to reinforce a defensive line left without Simon Kjaer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hailing from Sabac, 23-year-old Pavlović is only the third Serbian player in AC Milan`s history, following Marko Lazetić and Luka Jović. Unlike the two forwards, who came up through the Red Star Belgrade academy, Pavlović is a product of the &lt;strong&gt;Partizan &lt;/strong&gt;youth system. At 17, he was promoted to Partizan`s first team, making 11 league appearances and 4 in the Serbian Cup within half a season, winning his first career trophy in the process. In his second season he became a regular starter, also appearing in 12 Europa League matches.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Intrigued by his potential, &lt;strong&gt;Monaco &lt;/strong&gt;signed him from Partizan, but the young Serbian struggled to find the expected playing time in the Principality. Monaco retained his registration for two years, during which he was loaned out first to &lt;strong&gt;Cercle Brugge &lt;/strong&gt;and then to &lt;strong&gt;Basel&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;During the summer 2022 transfer window, Pavlović moved to &lt;strong&gt;Red Bull Salzburg&lt;/strong&gt;. With the Austrian &#34;Bulls,&#34; the defender &lt;strong&gt;won the league title&lt;/strong&gt; in his first year and participated in two &lt;strong&gt;Champions League &lt;/strong&gt;campaigns, both ending at the group stage. In his first experience in Europe`s premier competition, he faced &lt;strong&gt;AC Milan&lt;/strong&gt;, and in the second, he came up against &lt;strong&gt;Inter&lt;/strong&gt;, playing at San Siro in two consecutive seasons. AC Milan`s management hopes they have found another talent from Salzburg`s rich pool of prospects.
