&lt;p&gt;Three years after Argentina`s success in the final against the Seleçao in Brazil, the Copa America is back.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 48th edition of the South American competition returns to entertain European summer nights from 21 June to 15 July with a new format expanded to &lt;strong&gt;16&lt;/strong&gt; teams, with all ten South American nations and six Central and North American nations. The event takes place in the &lt;strong&gt;United States of America&lt;/strong&gt; for the second time in history, after the 100-year anniversary edition in 2016. 14 stadiums have been chosen as hosts, selected throughout the country from east to west, starting from Atlanta for the opening match and finishing in Miami for the final.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Among Serie A clubs, &lt;strong&gt;Juventus&lt;/strong&gt; are the most represented, with four players called up, followed by Inter and Cagliari with three; &lt;strong&gt;Argentina&lt;/strong&gt; have the most “Italians” in the squad (five), followed by the USA (four) and Brazil (three).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Group A&lt;/strong&gt;, made up of Argentina, Chile, Peru and Canada, is the only one with at least one Serie A TIM player present in each of the four national teams, and it is also the group with a greater number of footballers playing in our league.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For Scaloni`s Argentina, there are four Serie A veterans who featured in the 2021 edition, and therefore reigning champions: the Viola’s &lt;strong&gt;Martínez Quarta&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;Nico Gonzalez (Fiorentina)&lt;/strong&gt; and the world champions &lt;strong&gt;Paredes (Roma)&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;Lautaro Martínez (Inter)&lt;/strong&gt;. The Argentine coach relies on the experience of some veterans of the historic 2015/2016 double, such as the goalkeeper, Bravo, former Napoli player, Vargas, and &lt;strong&gt;Inter ‘s Alexis Sanchez&lt;/strong&gt;, the Roja’s technical and spiritual leader, who is also their leading scorer (51) and record appearance maker in the history of the Chilean national team.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Peru&lt;/strong&gt; is on the back of two successful trips to Brazil, with a runners-up place in 2019 and fourth in 2021, and under the guidance of new coach Fossati they are aiming for a big scalp.
