Matchday five will kick off on Friday 22 September with Salernitana vs. Frosinone at 18:30 CEST and Lecce vs. Genoa at 20:45 CEST, which will be the kick-off time for the final fixture of the weekend – Torino vs. Roma – on Sunday.  Midweek matches will follow: Juventus vs. Lecce will be played on Tuesday evening, while Napoli will host Udinese, the team they drew with to clinch the Scudetto last season on the road, at 20:45 CEST on Wednesday.

Atalanta vs. Juventus is scheduled for Sunday 1 October on matchday seven, during which AC Milan vs. Lazio will take place at San Siro at 18:00 CEST on Saturday.

After the second matchday of European fixtures, which will be played between 3 and 5 October, Serie A TIM will return on 6 October with Empoli vs. Udinese and Lecce vs. Sassuolo at 18:30 CEST and 20:45 CEST, respectively.  Attentions will then turn to Juventus vs. Torino at 18:00 CEST on Saturday and, after the Derby della Mole, Napoli vs. Fiorentina at 20:45 CEST on Sunday. This will be the final match before the second international break of the campaign, which will see Italy take to the pitch in Bari to face Malta on 14 October and then head to Wembley to play England three days later.

Matchday nine will see AC Milan face Juventus at 20:45 CEST on Sunday and will conclude with a Tuscan derby – Fiorentina vs. Empoli – at the same time the following day. European football will return during the final week of October, at the end of which an exciting Sunday awaits on matchday ten: two newly promoted sides in the form of Cagliari and Frosinone will take each other on at lunchtime, after which Inter vs. Roma (where Romelu Lukaku will return to San Siro) and Napoli vs. AC Milan will be played at 18:00 CET and 20:45 CET, respectively.

It’ll then be time for the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa round of 16, which will take place between Tuesday 31 October and Thursday 3 November, just before matchday eleven. Bologna vs. Lazio is scheduled for Friday evening, while a derby clash between Salernitana and Napoli awaits at 15:00 CET on Saturday before Atalanta vs. Inter at 18:00 CEST. Fiorentina vs. Juventus will take place on Sunday evening.

Matchday four in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will be followed by the twelfth round of Serie A TIM fixtures. This will be the final matchday before the third and penultimate international break of the campaign, during which Italy will face North Macedonia on 17 November at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and Ukraine away from home three days later (the team’s final Euro qualifying match). Two derbies will be played just before all the various players head off on international duty: Fiorentina vs. Bologna at 18:00 CET on Sunday and Lazio vs. Roma a few hours later.

There will be many interesting clashes on matchday 13: Atalanta vs. Napoli is scheduled for 18:00 CET on Saturday, followed by AC Milan vs. Fiorentina at 20:45 CET. On Sunday, it’ll be time for Juventus vs. Inter (20:45 CET), with Verona vs. Lecce finishing the action off on Monday.

After the penultimate matchday in Europe, which will bring November to a close, an intense December will begin. Indeed, five league matchdays and four Coppa Italia Frecciarossa round of 16 fixtures are set to take place in the final month of the year. On matchday 14, Napoli will take on Inter in Naples at 20:45 CET on Sunday 3 December, while Juventus vs. Napoli (20:45 CET on Friday 8 December), Atalanta vs. AC Milan (18:00 CET on Saturday) and Roma vs. Fiorentina (20:45 CET on Sunday) will all be played the following week.

Lazio vs. Inter (matchday 17, 20:45 CET on Sunday 17 December) is scheduled to be played on the same matchday as AC Milan vs. Monza (12:30 CET, also on Sunday) and Napoli vs. Cagliari (18:00 CET on Saturday), with these fixtures arriving immediately after the conclusion of the group stage in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. Following the European draw in Nyon on 18 December, Roma vs. Napoli (Friday evening) is the standout fixture on matchday 17, which will take place across Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December. After Christmas, the final fixture of the year will be Juventus vs. Roma at 20:45 CET on Saturday 30 December (matchday 18).
