Kings League is an innovative take on 7-a-side football, created in Spain in 2022. Each regional league has 12 teams owned by club presidents, influential streamers and digital content creators, and high-profile football legends, who compete for the title in an exciting format: six matches played on a single match day , end-of-season playoffs and a final in iconic stadia like FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou, Atletico Madrid’s Metropolitano and Mexico’s Estadio Azteca. The sport has integrated elements of gaming and fan interaction into traditional football, which produces exciting, dynamic, high-scoring 40-minute matches. Streamers connect with their Gen Z audience across their own digital channels and platforms, meaning Kings League’s fan base is highly engaged and regularly interacts with the sport itself. All of this creates increasingly engaging experiences for the consumer, in which the sporting event is dramatically enhanced by the personalization and immediacy offered by modern social media and technology.

The recent Kings World Cup Nations tournament, an international competition that - for the first time in history - saw 16 national teams from all over the world compete in Italy, garnered over 100M viewers across the world, with 1.5Billion social media impressions generated. The Grand Finale of the Kings World Cup Nations saw Brazil triumph over Colombia to lift the trophy, with more than 40,000 passionate fans in attendance at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium.
