Roma vs. Como: a match between two in-form sides
Roma host Como at the Olimpico. The Giallorossi are looking for a fourth win in a row, while Como could record their third successive victory
Roma and Como face off at 18:00 CET on matchday 27 in Serie A Enilive. Ranieri`s side are looking to make it eleven games without defeat and four consecutive league victories. Como remain the last team to beat the Giallorossi (15 December), who want to continue their charge for a European spot.
Cesc Fabregas’ side, however, will be looking to extend their gap from the relegation zone and to extend their winning streak to three after beating Fiorentina and Napoli in their last two outings.
HEAD TO HEAD
Roma have lost their last two matches against Como in Serie A (0-2 both on 25 January 2003 and last 15 December), the only time the Lombards have lost successive games against Capitoline club in the top-flight. After the 0-2 defeat in the reverse fixture against Como, Roma could lose both seasonal Serie A matches against a newly promoted team for the first time since 1995/96 against Atalanta.
Como have won only one away game against Roma in Serie A, theor first against the Giallorossi in the tournament (1-0 on 23 April 1950). Since then they’ve played 11 matches at the home of the Giallorossi in the tournament, with seven victories for the Capitoline team (including all the last three) and four draws.
